According to this MainStreet post I originally saw on LISNews the book release Breaking Dawn is a pretty big deal.
Sadly, while that's true at libraries in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and at the Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh, and while the book release inspired a long wiki post and discussion list brainstorming session, my own branch of NYPL is sadly lacking.

I feel a lot of pressure right now since my last blog post on this topic got widely read due to its having been posted in American Librarians Direct. This week, IMAGINARY PLACES and a candidate for the memory hole.
Last night I couldn't connect to the internet from home. First I went through a lengthy telephone system diagnostic with Time Warner, my service provider. Ultimately they determined that the problem was with my ISP, Earthlink. I tried to get help from them over the phone, but after an hour on hold I got disconnected. Following is a transcript of my online chat with Earthlink. Up until the very end I was convinced I was chatting with a bot.
