If you can't read it, the text says, "Different values make the world a richer place." Are there really people who prefer engineered food to organic??? And what does that have to do with "the world's local bank"?

I don't really have time to write a detailed post just now, but I wanted to get this out there because I really love Bitch: Feminist Response to Pop Culture. The print publishing industry is all kinds of fucked right now, and not just because many people like to read things online. When I get more time, I'll dig up links and backstory on the demise of Punk Planet, Clamor, etc. Anyway, send them some dough!
This weekend I attended Drupal Camp, organized by the New York City Drupal Gommunity, including and especially my spouse Eric.
My overall feeling is that it was great to see such a large and motivated group in action--providing two days of training and peer learning, friggin' delicious bagels, and pizza, all for free.

Legendary cataloger Sandy Berman was in a serious car accident last Friday and is facing a long and arduous recovery.

I found a notice stuffed in my door when I arrived home from work on Friday evening that my landlord is changing the lock on the front door on Wednesday "to enhance security" and that the leaseholder only, bearing two photo IDs and a utility bill can pick up the new key on Monday or Tuesday between 3 and 5. Does that seem reasonable to you?
