I anticipated this final entry to the Newsflesh trilogy with perhaps greater excitement than I did Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Mockingjay, though that may be that my desire was fanned by NYPL's dragging its ass on getting copies.
I don't know how to talk about Blackout without spoilering it for any of you fools who haven't read the first two books in the series. I'll just say that this future zombie dystopia is entirely plausible, you care deeply about the characters, and you want to know what's going to happen next. I'm looking forward to giving the whole thing another read to see if I love it as much when I already know what's going to happen.
Thank you A.j. Michel for turning me on to Newsflesh, which I read about in her zine, but you can read her review of Feed on her blog, too.
