The graphic novel told story of a corporate thug turned hero of the working man after he gets fired from his job shilling feel good ultimatums is full of clever political puns and...cleverisms. Seriously, you'll marvel at the authors' wit on nearly every page. They provide data (in the form of clever satirical ads) to back up their anti-capitalist point-of-view. The art seems (to my ignorant text-biased self) to be right in tune with comic book superherolands. My chief complaint, if you can view it as one, is the denseness of the clever. I can see this working better as a daily comic strip where stopping to marvel at the wit doesn't pile up all at once to give you a repetitive smirk injury.
The politics is pretty biting, so I have to do one more bit of marveling that they found a mainstream publisher, Little, Brown, to produce the book. As a smash-the-stater, I also have to comment that the book's emphasis on the glory days of The Great Society isn't for me. And while there are some female superheroes in the story, their presence and personalities feel a little forced. Still, I give the authors credit for trying.
I really would like to see a daily strip, okay? I recommend the book for teens, and Jon Stewart fans.
CATS: none
LIBRARIANS: one, but just for a second, and he is male. No one will get points with me by presenting a male superhero librarian. Our profession is 80% women, people!
PS Mickel, it's coming your way. I think you'll love it.

Just received the graphic novel yesterday. Will read it and maybe even report on it for you. You are probably right that I will like its politics, and that I will not be as outraged over its male librarian character. Still, I'm with you: They could not have her be female? Perhaps not. We'll see...

I think you'll give it an easier time than for more than just the male librarian. I'm too snooty for my own good!
