Bone crushing machines
This proposal is too specific for a general vocabulary such as LCSH. The editorial meeting recommends that libraries that need specialized headings of this type create them as local headings rather than proposing them for inclusion in LCSH. The LCSH headings Crushing machinery and Bones may be assigned to the work being cataloged. The proposal was not approved.
"This proposal is too specific for a general vocabulary such as LCSH." but a bazillion roads in Turkey can each get their own headings? I will never understand the expansion and contraction of SACO's definition of specific.
Calendars
This proposal was made to add the UFs Pocket calendars and Wall calendars to the existing heading. The meeting does not wish to add UFs for types of calendars to this heading. The proposal was not approved.
Same comment as above. Also, "does not wish."
Women celebrities
The women profiled in the work being cataloged are mostly professional women such as bankers, lawyers, social activists, journalists, and so forth; they are not celebrities in the LCSH sense of the word. The work may be cataloged using the headings Successful people—Sri Lanka and Women—Sri Lanka. The proposal was not necessary.
I get how the work cited in the proposal might not have warranted the addition of this heading, but isn't any existing human-related LCSH a no-brainer for a Women version? The rejection seems punitive.

Miss Piggy and Socks get canceled, but it's okay because they're still name authorities. Also, Socks lived a nice long time. I love this history of Socks from Wikipedia,
He eventually lost the position of principal Clinton pet in 1997 when the Clintons acquired Buddy, a Labrador Retriever.
Socks found Buddy's intrusion intolerable; according to Hillary Clinton, Socks "despised Buddy from first sight, instantly and forever." Bill Clinton said, "I did better with ... the Palestinians and the Israelis than I've done with Socks and Buddy." When the Clintons left the White House in 2001 they took Buddy to their new home, but left Socks under the care of Bill Clinton's secretary, Betty Currie. Buddy would die within a year, being hit by a car in 2002.

I struggle to understand what these "social interaction" headings even mean.
