I just don't understand this ad:
If you can't read it, the text says, "Different values make the world a richer place." Are there really people who prefer engineered food to organic??? And what does that have to do with "the world's local bank"?
Please advise.

The first round of this ad
The first round of this ad series was actually kind of great, it its own way, but this round is just weird.
I've been mesmerized by the inflatable rat version that offers you "free-speech, comaraderie, clout" to choose from.
Does this mean you look at the apple and think "this is engineered?" Because that is what the rest of the series is, sort of a "one person's free speech is another person's clout."
All of that said, my friend, you're stuck in a bit of a bubble because yes! there are definitely people who think that modern engineering makes life better. What if your apple could be engineered to make your car faster? Who wouldn't like that apple better?

The bus shelter ads are a bit more disturbing.
They stack the images on top of each other, instead of side by side. The little white triangle in the lower right, instead of looking like a simple design element, looks like a pointer selecting the 'right' option. In each case the last option looks selected, and is selecting the corporate/capitalist option (clout over free speech, engineered over organic, etc.)

That is weird, and disturbing. I agree with Amanda, I liked the earlier ads, like the Williamsburgh one (with the Chassid, the hipster, etc.). But then I'm a NYC chauvinist.
