Zinester's Guide to NYC

The Zinester's Guide to NYC, compiled by Ayun Halliday is coming to a bookstore or distro near you on November 15.

But if you're lucky enough to live in New York or will for whatever reason be here on November 11, you can buy an autographed copy at the book release party at Housing Works.

Guests and activities include:

• The Bushwick Book Club, performing original songs inspired by the ZG2NYC
• A mini zine fair for our contributors’ zines and self-published comics
• A breakneck recitation of some of our favorite listings
• $2 Pyramid Game Show

As a contributor I'll be there hawking my zines and reading one of my contributions along with one or more of the following people and then some: Liz Baillie, Sharon Furgason, Vikki Law, Lauren Jade Martin, Eric Nelson, Amanda Plumb, Cristy Road and Max Stein.

I wrote about Critical Mass and Howl/Charlie Parker/Wigstock and reviewed the Hayden Planetarium, Pukk, Atlas Cafe, Sixth Street Pilates, and Bahn Mi Zon.
