Yes, I'm three books in to Pretty Little Liars. I don't even like it anymore, but I'm not sure I can stop.
Most of the characters are reprehensible, with the exception of newly out lesbian Emily Fields and her more oldly out girlfriend Maya. All of the adults are simply awful, so awful that they strain credibility past its breaking point. Not that the rest of the story is anything I have any idea about, since all of the families depicted are so rich they can buy their kids townhouses in Philadelphia as college graduation gifts. But even in cartoon land, you want to be within sight of plausible impossibility, right?
