Americanized: Rebel Without a Green Card

I love the cover of this novel: the Persianized red, white, and blue, and the chair illustration, and the Doc Martens. Saedi is silly in a good way, self-mocking, pop-culture referencing, and thoughtful. The book has an emphasis on immigrant problems. I love how close Saedi is with her family. I could feel their pride in her as I read her memoir.
