Thanks to Alex Wrekk, I've been watching the Canadian supernatural procedural Lost Girl. The show is about a succubus, just like, you guessed it, this second installment of Mead's Georgina Kincaid series. For those you don't know, a succubus takes a partner's life force during sex.
The Georgina Kincaid character's flaw is that she works for the side of evil, but really she's not that bad. In on Top she's struggling with her desire to get close to her mortal boyfriend, a best selling author. On the side she's helping her incubus buddy woo and screw the leader of an anti-gay hate group and also take down a supernatural drug dealer who is messing with some of her fellow bookstore employees.
The whole succubus thing is weird to me, but the story is compelling enough.
