Another meh read to start off 2020. I started at the bottom of my NYPL to-read list and forced myself to borrow or put a hold on everything, in order. I should probably delete half that list. And half my BPL, Barnard, Butler, Lehman, GoodReads, and Zotero to-read lists.
Like the last Carrie Fisher memoir I read, this one was a lap dance. More compelling than The Princess Diarist, Wishful Drinking is more or less the script of Fisher's one-woman show of the same name. She wrote it after she lost memories to ECT, electroconvulsive therapy. My favorite parts of it are about her relationship with her mother.
