The third installment of the Alpha and Omega series finds Anna and her husband/mate Charles in the southwest (New Mexico, I think) visiting an old friends of Charles's and of course immediately embroiled in a hunt for a bad fae. The fae is stealing children, which endears him to no one.
It's a perfectly enjoyable book--just what I wanted/needed right now. As I wrote on a friend's Friday Reads post on Facebook, "sometimes paranormal fantasy is the only thing that makes sense." The Trumpocalypse makes me want to give my brain a break from the real life horror. I predict the launch of another spinoff in this universe that began with Mercy Thompson--a storyline for Chelsea, newly turned were. And I'll read it.
