This is another link from my friend Susan--Print Fetish blog. Yum!
"News, information, reviews and history on the subjects of beautiful magazines, self-published 'zines, handmade books, small press, comix, art books and miscellaneous printed ephemera."
The site launched less than a year ago, but already has a nice list categories including zines (handmade and printed). Some of the posts in the "printed" category are a little magazine-y for me, but I was happy to see an entry about QZAP included. QZAP was also tagged "handmade," as was the Doris anthology, which I think is a bit of a stretch, but hey--that's the thing about tags. They're applied at the whim of the blogger, and if the blogger is like me, they're not always consistent, no matter how hard they try.
Maybe one day soon they'll add "libraries."
Mostly I'm just glad to see some internet loving of print publications, and their aesthetic focus on beautiful objects is much welcome, too.
Today's latest story is on making your own rubber stamps, which I think is a very noble pursuit.
