- A pile of Chinese Buzzwords with English Translations books showed up at the library. It's the 1st edition, rather than the 2nd, which is what I linked to above. An Open WorldCat search did not yield any results for the 1st edition, nor did a search on the ISBN. That leads me to conclude that some WorldCat library should keep this sucker. I'm not sure it should be mine, though.
- It's quite possible that I've linked the Magic Eight Ball before, but I'd forgotten about it until I was trying to help someone make a major decision. She got a different answer to her question than I did, which discredits it a bit. I am hopeful that all signs point to yes, as the Magic Eight Ball tells me I will Absolutely! run a 5K.
- That's right. Run a 5K. Eric and I are going to try one of those Couch Potato to 5K website/podcast deals. Emily recommended it.
- Vegan restaurant reviews for New Orleans, courtesy of Nicole. I'll be in New Orleans for the American Library Association conference next month. Notably to attend a Radical Reference meeting and radical book party (sorry that's a Facebook link for now, until someone gets around to posting it on the Rad Ref site), presenting on a zine cataloging panel (more info on that one to come, too!), and to launch the Orderly Disorder: Librarian Zinesters in Circulation tour.
