It annoys me that headings like this one have to go through the system to get added. Like today I wanted to add ARAB AMERICAN WOMEN COLLEGE STUDENTS, but couldn't. I mean, that's the form, right? If HISPANIC AMERICAN WOMEN COLLEGE STUDENTS exist, can't we just assume that so can Arab-American ones?
Thank you, though University of Colorado at Denver, Auraria Libraries cataloger.

I don't like the LC using the term "Blacks" either, but it depends what they're going for. Is this just in regards to Americans?

Good point. The warrant for
Good point. The warrant for this heading is:
670 __ |a Work cat.: AfroGEEKS, c2007: |b p. 4 of cover (information technology adoption and innovation ... in black communities across the globe; African diaspora cultures)
and the pattern is:
952 __ |a LC pattern: Technology and youth; Libraries and blacks
But I would still argue for BLACK PEOPLE, rather than just BLACKS, or better yet something that describes the people for their African descent or specifically includes the words "African" and "diaspora."
