What would a subd look like? BRIGADOON -- MCCONNACHY SQUARE?
You know what's great? There are 236 IMAGINARY PLACES including Brigadoon and CRAWFORD COUNTY, (TEX), DARKOVER (which is a whole planet, imaginary or not, and totally needs to subd!), DOGPATCH, HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY, LAKE WOBEGON (MINN), OCEAN CITY (I knew OCNJ was a dry town, but not that it didn't exist at all!), OZ, etc. I've just got one to add AFFORDABLE 2BDRM APARTMENT FOR RENT OR SALE. This one has to be able to subd geog! e.g. (NEW YORK {STATE}, NEW YORK).

The authority record contains a scope note, "Here are entered works on the process by which economic, cultural, political, and social institutions become integrated worldwide." I'd like to see an RT for ANTI-GLOBALIZATION MOVEMENT, wouldn't you?

Memory Hole
Yesterday, when I started this post, there were three categories that are new to me. I've been on LCSH watch only since January of this year, so I don't know if this is a new thing or just new to me, but anyway, this week in, like, English they listed items under the labels Withdrawn, Not Approved, Resubmit.

Today, they're not there. Anyone got an explanation or conspiracy theory?
