I just cataloged a zine to which I wish I could have assigned the subject headings FEMME IDENTITY and FEMMES.
Femmes Unite contains short essays by male, female, and genderqueer (another heading I'd like to see!) femmes on topics including but not limited to:
femininity
femme identity
transgender identity
discrimination against lesbians within queer community
butch and femme women in blue collar jobs
competition between femmes
drag
being a boy femme
Please LC, heed this or my earlier call, and recognize the girly girls and boys (and grrrls and bois)!
