I am a total sucker for in-jokes, especially when they're as bibliogeekarific as this punny history of cataloging. I just wish they'd kept going instead of stopping in 1916.
It's called "Great Moments in the History of Technical Services," and I heard about it from Karen Green on a Columbia Libraries list. She forwarded it from the Western European Studies list.
My faves are 427 AD and of course 1917.
