As I said in my long Progressive Library Skillshare report back, the AIDS Library del.icio.us project deserves its own post.
Librarians from the AIDS Library in Philadelphia maintain the page, tagging resources and then assigning them to Dewey call number ranges. I just think that's one of the most bibliogeekarific I've ever seen. What's weird, though, is I don't see a link to it on their site. Am I missing it? Is it more for internal/librarian than external/patron use?
Because the resources are all assigned to one or more Dewey ranges, you can see at a glance in which areas they (or the internet in general?) are strong, and which need more attention. I'll personally be on the lookout for fiction pages/sites to tag for:aidslibrarian.
They also have a Flickr account, offer downloadable fact sheets, provide pathfinders for online publications, Philadelphia area services and living with AIDS, and deliver computer/Internet services and tutorials.
