Katie is fresh from being dumped by her fiancé (for her best friend, obviously) when, over a negotiating table, she meets a brash man...who turns out to be a butch lesbian she can't stop thinking about. As it turns out, the feeling is mutual. Cassidy knows better than to fall for a straight girl, and yet she does.
This fluffy West Village romance is an easy and fun read, full of nostalgia for the lesbian bar scene and one's 20s. The queer characters are believable, and Katie is forgivable, despite being a skinny blonde.
